RK Automations

PLC automation,
from design to diagnosis.

New logic, existing-system improvements and structured troubleshooting for programmable control systems.

PLC system design

Define the intended control sequence, controller architecture, inputs, outputs and interfaces. New system planning includes a review of the operating requirements, expansion needs, component compatibility and available documentation.

The agreed design scope can cover controller selection, I/O schedules, control interfaces and panel modification requirements.

Programming and logic development

Develop control logic around the required sequence of operation. The work may include interlocks, timing, analogue processing, alarms and diagnostics, as appropriate to the application.

Program structure, readable naming, backups and testing requirements are discussed as part of the scope. No safety function is assumed to be suitable for an ordinary PLC without a separate engineering assessment.

Program modification and sequence correction

Review an existing program and the requested change before altering the sequence. Typical requirements include updated operating steps, additional inputs or outputs, revised alarms and corrections to unexpected behaviour.

Access permissions, a recoverable backup and a controlled test plan are important prerequisites. We do not bypass protected access or make changes without customer authorisation.

Fault diagnosis and debugging

Investigate the reported symptoms using the available fault records, program state, configuration and interface information. Debugging aims to distinguish a logic issue from a power, wiring, field-device or communication issue.

Input and output troubleshooting

Review signal status, channel configuration and field-device interfaces. Any on-site electrical measurements must be carried out by qualified personnel under the applicable site procedures.

Communication fault troubleshooting

Review device identities, network configuration, communication diagnostics and system changes. Protocol-specific work is confirmed after identifying the installed equipment.

Controller replacement and migration

A replacement or migration requires a review of the existing program, I/O, communication interfaces, software availability and operating sequence. A controller with a similar description is not automatically a compatible replacement.

Existing-system upgrades can combine controller changes, additional diagnostics, sequence improvements and a staged commissioning plan. Testing and any required outage are agreed with the customer.

Control panel modification

Review the existing enclosure, component arrangement, drawings, power and control interfaces before agreeing changes. Scope may include component replacement, controller integration and associated wiring or documentation updates.

Share the available drawings and the intended change so that the modification scope can be reviewed.

HMI, SCADA and remote review

Human-machine interface (HMI) screens provide an operating interface; supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) systems can provide broader monitoring. These requirements are assessed for the exact platform and application before being included in a quotation.

Remote troubleshooting is considered only when suitable, explicitly authorised and supported by safe local assistance. This website never requests remote-control credentials or installs remote-access software.

On-site commissioning

Commissioning support verifies the agreed control behaviour and interfaces against the defined requirements. Scope can include I/O checks, sequence verification, fault response review and handover of agreed backups or documentation.

Acceptance criteria, safety responsibilities, attendance and commissioning boundaries are agreed before work starts.
