How information is used when you contact RK Automations.
This notice explains the information involved when you use this website or contact RK Automations. It covers website enquiries, email, phone and WhatsApp contact. It is not a substitute for the commercial terms agreed for an engagement.
1. Who to contact

2. Information you provide
An enquiry may contain your name, phone number, optional email and organisation, the selected service or product and the details you choose to share. Please do not submit passwords, confidential program files, unnecessary personal data or information you are not authorised to disclose.
3. How the website form works
The WhatsApp and email buttons prepare a message using the details you enter. You review and send that message through the selected service. Preparing a message does not by itself confirm that RK Automations has received it.
Where a direct website-enquiry button is enabled, the submitted information is sent through the configured mail service to RK Automations. A confirmation that it has been accepted for email delivery is not a guarantee that an individual has read it or that a response time has been agreed.
4. Why the information is used
Enquiry information is used to understand and respond to the requirement, prepare or discuss a quotation, arrange agreed communication and maintain records relevant to the engagement. An enquiry does not automatically subscribe you to a marketing list.
5. Technical information and cookies
This website does not install advertising trackers, marketing analytics or a service worker. The enquiry form does not save its contents in browser local storage. The hosting environment may process technical request information such as IP addresses, requested pages and error information for site operation and security.
Reference photographs may be loaded from Wikimedia image servers in the review package. Loading an external photograph sends a normal image request, including technical connection information, to that provider. No referrer is sent by these image elements. When the images are self-hosted in the production deployment, those image requests stay with the website host.
The dark/light theme choice is saved on your device using browser local storage under the key rk-automations-theme. It contains only your display preference, not enquiry data. Clearing browser site data removes the saved choice. Where your browser blocks storage, the switch still works for the current visit.
The optional direct-enquiry service uses short-lived, in-memory request information for rate limiting and duplicate-request handling. Hosting and mail providers may keep separate operational logs under their own arrangements.
6. Third-party services
WhatsApp, your email provider and Google Maps are separate services with their own privacy terms. Map content is not embedded automatically; a map opens only when you follow the location link. External services may process the message or technical data you choose to send to them.
Information may be handled by the hosting or mail providers needed to operate the website and deliver enquiries. Their processing locations and retention depend on the providers used by RK Automations.
7. Retention and your requests
Contact RK Automations to ask about records associated with your enquiry, to request correction or deletion, or to withdraw permission for further enquiry-related contact. Requests will be reviewed subject to applicable law and any necessary records of an engagement, transaction or dispute.
Records should be retained only for the relevant enquiry, engagement, security or legal purpose. Ask the contact above for the retention arrangements applicable to your information.
8. Security and appropriate use
Only provide information needed for the enquiry. No website or communication service can guarantee absolute security. Sensitive technical documents and any required secure-transfer arrangement should be discussed directly rather than entered into the public enquiry form.
9. Updates
This notice should be reviewed whenever the website, enquiry delivery method or service providers change. The version published on the website describes the current stated arrangements.
